What Is VestaConnect?

VestaConnect is an ecosystem that allows someone that needs support from family, care facilities/caretakers, medical professionals and others to manage their day, reduce confusion and engage in life in a meaningful way without being overwhelmed by multiple solutions and technologies. The main user of the system will have a large touchscreen in their living space that allows them to see their calendar in real time, lets them make simple choices just by touching the screen to answer questions, check off task, make video and audio calls…all of this, and more, without needing to understand technology. It is simply touching the screen. The family can remotely schedule items, update calendars, see real time what the user’s screen is display, upload medical information or messages. If it also installed in a facility, the facility can schedule calendar items, tasks, provide information like menus or activity calendars, see medical information during emergencies (conditions, prescriptions, health care directives and others). Simply put, it is a system that allow everyone to engage in actively managing and coordinating activities.

How Does VestaConnect Work?

VestConnect requires a touchscreen in the primary user’s living space. Simply by touching the screen, that user can understand their activities, calendars, etc, without ever worrying about understanding technology, updating apps, or navigating menus. The family and facility members can simply use their current computer or mobile devices to access all the features they need.

When will VestaConnect be available?

VestaConnect is currently being tested with a small group of beta users. The product will be generally available in mid January 2025. If you are interested in helping us test and refine the product, please see the question below about beta testing.

How much is VestaConnect and where do I get it?

As an introductory price for families, VestaConnect is $30/month, charged monthly to a credit card..  There is no long term commitment.  The fee based solely on the user with the touchscreen, not the number of people updating the application.  For example, you and your siblings can have access to the application to update for your parents - the fee will only be $30/month (introductory price). For people in facilities, where the facility needs the advanced features, the charge will be $40/month. When the product is released you will be able sign up either on our website or the application that runs on the touchscreen will guide your through the process of subscribing.

What are the system requirements?

There are several touchscreen options that will be supported that can be viewed on the resources page in the near future. The monitor will need internet connectivity/WIFI. For families and facilities, most up to date mobile devices and web browser with access to the internet will be all you need.

Is the hardware included in the monthly fee?

Hardware is not currently included in the monthly fee.

Can I use equipment I already have?

For the touchscreen users, probably not. Because of the specific requirements that allow the user to interact with the screen, and VestaConnect’s ability to support it, there will be a limited number of supported devices. This is done intentionally so we can ensure a quality experience.

Is VestaConnect secure?

We understand the sensitive nature of the personal information this system will have access to. We have designed the system to be HIPAA and GDPR compliant. Simply put, we are implementing all of the security technology, encryption technology and procedures that medical professionals and hospitals have to adhere to.

How do I get an evaluation version?

At this time, evaluation versions are not supported. You must subscribe to the system in order to start using it. We currently have video lessons in production so you can see how the system will work. If you decide to try it out, the hardware can be purchased from several resellers that will allow you to return it within a reasonable period of time, usually a month. We will allow you to subscribe to the system and if it isn’t right for you, you can cancel within the first month with no charge and return the hardware.

Can I be a beta tester?
